📍 Richmond Policing: Week in Review

It’s been another busy week for Richmond’s neighbourhood officers, working alongside our response teams to keep communities safe, support vulnerable people and tackle crime across the borough:

🔹 Saturday: Officers from the South Richmond, Ham, Petersham and Richmond Riverside Wards responded to concerns for the welfare of a young female in Richmond Park. Following a coordinated search, she was found safe and appropriate safeguarding measures were put in place. During the search, officers also came across two other young females who were vulnerable and heavily intoxicated. Both were taken to hospital to receive the care and support they needed.

🔹 Later that day, officers responded to reports of disorder in Richmond Town Centre. Following a short foot chase, five individuals were detained and searched, leading to the recovery of cannabis. Those involved were dealt with appropriately and moved on from the area.

🔹 Sunday: PC Chate-Fawcett arrested a wanted male in Twickenham who was subject to a Recall to Prison. Separately, officers from the Heathfield Ward Team arrested a suspect in connection with a domestic abuse-related stalking investigation.

🔹 Tuesday: Acting on intelligence received through Royal Mail, PC Matt Bond from Ham & Petersham Ward identified and located a suspect linked to the importation of Class A drugs. Enquiries remain ongoing.

🔹 Thursday: In the early hours of the morning, officers from E Team West responded to reports of a burglary on Heath Road, Twickenham. Following a swift search of the area, two suspects were arrested in St Margaret's and property believed to be linked to the offence was recovered nearby. 🚔

Thank you to everyone who continues to report concerns and share information with us. Your support helps us take action, protect vulnerable people and keep Richmond a safe place to live, work and visit. 🚔💙
